Google Chrome - "Couldn't Load Plugin" Error

My Google Chrome browser began to show this error on flash websites, specifically when watching online videos. As usual I did a Google search to find a fix. I found many articles and YouTube videos (using Internet Explorer) about "Peppeflash". Most sources said to look for this file and rename it..blah blah. None of these worked for me. In fact I didn't even have some of the files they were referring to. I also tried many google forums and playing around with all my Chrome Settings.
NOTHING Worked

The FIX:
  1. Using Chrome Browser - navigate to https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ or google adobe flash player download. Go to the download page.

  2. Select your operating system and version (Version Chromium-PPAPI)
  3. Select in would like to install the Optional offers and select "Download now"
  4. The install will occur -> Restart Chrome and Enjoy a good day of watching videos :)

Windows 10 Start Button Does Not Work (Basic Fix Found)

or stops working all of a sudden...

Well one day I turned on my computer and the Start Menu and in fact all functions of the Taskbar stopped responding. I began to search for solutions online as we all do. Below is what I found.

PC World Solution:
 http://www.pcworld.com/article/3045633/software/3-fixes-for-a-dead-windows-10-start-menu.html

Windows 10 Guru (YouTube) Solution:

BT.com Solution:
http://home.bt.com/tech-gadgets/computing/has-your-windows-10-start-menu-stopped-working-here-are-four-ways-to-fix-it-11364000314532

What I tried (but didn't work)
I tried some one of the solutions provided by PC World (Solution #1- Fix corrupted files).
I did find corrupted files and I tried to fix them but I also ran into another error which would not update the files :(   ....On to the next....

What I was NOT willing to try
  • Create another user account and move over my data over.
  • Reinstall Windows 10 OS (Reinstall all programs and data) ...yea no thanks.

The FIX:
So I took a basic approach, the Windows Restore Point. My PC is creating restore points by itself, especially after installations of new SW. So I restored my PC to an earlier time when the start button did work (a few days earlier). After a successful restore everything worked fine.
Easy without messing with all the complicated issues of the other fixes.

I hope this works for you. Let me know.

Liquidating Your Deadstock

If you have a lot of things deadstock to get rid of.

A Small Liquidation Company

So Garden State Liquid is a small company that will buy and liquidate dead stock or over stock. They are not picky about the items or type of product and may present small businesses or even large companies with a reasonable opportunity to create more self space or reduce inventory.

(And because this blog is about Just Good Info - No, this is not my own company)

However, if this is a service that interest you then it doesn't hurt to have options or at least see what they have to offer. Cheers!

There are two styles of Logitech Wireless Receivers - Nano Receiver and Unifying Receiver.
Both do the same thing however they DO NOT use the same software to configure and pair devices.

The Logitech Nano Receiver uses the Logitech Connection Utility Software to connect and pair devices.

Here is a link to the SW at Logitech's website:
